Skin Cancer Checks
Our practice offers comprehensive skin checks for patients of all ages. We will conduct a thorough examination of your skin during your appointment and discuss any specific areas of concern. Our doctors can evaluate and treat common issues such as acne, rashes, fungal infections, itchy spots, insect bites and stings, chickenpox, athlete’s foot, burns and blisters.
If you have noticed a suspicious-looking mole or lesion, we recommend booking a skin cancer check at your earliest convenience. Familiarising yourself with your freckles and moles will help you identify any changes that may occur over time. Skin cancers such as Melanoma, Basal Cell Carcinoma, and Squamous Cell Carcinoma will often present without symptoms. It’s important to check for new moles habitually, including moles that itch or bleed and moles that have changed in size, colour, or texture.
